Chilli pepper pate (180gr.)
To the family of SOLANACEE also belongs the chilli pepper, CAPSICUM, that is box. It is cultivated since ancient times and to the elongated shape that protects the numerous seeds, usually very hot.
Originally from Mexico, it grows spontaneously on calcareous rock and old walls. It comes to us thanks to Christopher Columbus.
The itching substance contained in chili peppers is an alkaloid, preserved in oil, in vinegar, in salt and used in cooking in many preparations. It contains CAPSALCINA which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
In the kitchen it is used to flavor sauces containing a restorative property of the walls of blood vessels. Our pâté is ready to be enjoyed on boiled meats or sauces, spaghetti or as you wish.
