The buds called capers and the fruits called cucunci are the products of the caper. It has been cultivated since ancient times and is spontaneous on calcareous rock and old walls.
The capers of Pantelleria and Lipari are famous. They are preserved in oil, in vinegar, in salt and used in the kitchen in many preparations. It seems that fresh capers contain a restorative property of the walls of blood vessels. Our pâté is ready to be enjoyed on boiled meats or sauces, spaghetti or as you wish.
