Passion, tradition and love for the territory and its products, continuity in innovation, this is our philosophy, this is the main recipe of the Frantoio di Sant`Agata d`Oneglia.
Our oil mill is located in S. Agata, a very picturesque small village in the hills of Imperia with a view of the Ligurian sea. Our family has been producing and cultivating Taggiasche olives for more than 190 years, which are typical of our western region. The olive trees are hand cared for and also the harvesting is done by hand. The small Taggiasche olives are harvested just before the final ripening. On the same day we choose to pick the best olives and proceed with the cold pressing, to create a natural scented oil without oxidants. The same procedure is carried out for food products.
Lovers of Mediterranean cuisine from the French to the Germans, from the Japanese to the Americans and also the famous chefs and specialist shops are our satisfied customers.
We are part of the "Corporazione dei MastrI Oleari".
Our company has received many awards and recognitions from the famous Ercole Olivario obtained in 1996 in the category "Light Fruity", the Grand Mention certificate of honor at the "Golden Lion" in the year 2001 and 2010; 1st classified for the packaging Gold Yellow Bologna in 2007 and with the recognition in 2004-2007 by the Los Angeles Country Fair Olive Oil of the world Oscar olive oil.
Finally, we have obtained an important award that you can evaluate yourself by reading this link:
