Typical salami of Southern Italy, in particular Calabria, is famous for its intense and spicy taste. It can be used in the kitchen in various ways: sliced can be an excellent appetizer to taste with baked goods or bread. It is also excellent to flavour the sauce or to accompany an aperitif.

Long sweet soppressata
The Soppressata di Calabria is the most prized and famous Calabrian salami in the world because of a mixture of meats made from ham and fillet or shoulder and the addition of fat well chosen from the lard of the front of the loin.
The meat and lard, selected and minced at medium size and suitably flavoured with black pepper grains or sweet or spicy red pepper, are stuffed into natural pork guts.
Perforated and tied by hand with natural string and the characteristic slightly flattened shape, they are left to mature for a minimum period of forty-five days.
INGREDIENTS: Pork meat, salt between 2/2.4%, spicy or sweet pepper flavours, antioxidant ascorbic acid (E300) below the legal limits, preservative potassium nitrate (E252) below the legal limits, gluten-free and lactose-free.
Keep in a cool place 12°/13° C, expires 180 days.
